Funky Friday

We are Funky Friday, a young, energetic and professional covers band based in Bristol, UK. We can perform at your wedding, party or function all year round! Our set list includes funk classics, up to date chart toppers and retro floor fillers.

We met whilst studying at renowned music university – Bristol Institute of Modern Music and have a wealth of professional experience including: The BBC, Glastonbury Festival, The Big Chill Festival, Thompson Gold Holidays, The Shepherds Bush Empire, The Royal Albert Hall, The O2 Arena plus various events for the Armed Forces.

We are suitable for a range of events and venues, from small weddings in back garden marquees to corporate parties in large concert halls. We will tailor each event to create a truly bespoke event for you! Funky Friday are looking forward to your event!

Our line up is: Freya on vocals and percussion, Christian on guitar and bv’s, Jenn on drums, Chris on bass and Dom on alto, tenor and baritone sax. We are also highly experienced music tutors with children, groups and private tuition.
