If you’re not already a fan of John Adams, then imagine a mix of Ed Sheeran, Sam Smith and James Morrison with a reach in his tone to match James Blunt and James Bay and you’ve got it!! Further imagine this complemented by a team of experienced and talented musicians; performing all the most popular songs from the last 50 years with the ability to either relax you into a day dream or get you all worked up in a partying frenzy. Does this sound like the live music you’re after?
With all this in mind, there’s no wonder John and his band are acheiving more and more success. Last year alone they performed 182 gigs and have already played alongside Take That, Olly Murs, JLS, Stooshe, Alexandra Burke, Union J, T’pau, Russel Kane, Status Quo, UB40 Katherine Jenkins, Lemar and many more.
Despite the progression in John’s activities, he still sticks to his busking roots and is often seen in different cities drawing quite a crowd. The experience of performing to strangers really shows. His interaction with the audience and his ability to get them involved is his biggest strength.
There really is no gig too big or too small, too wild or too intimate.
The option to book John with his trio or duo of multi-instrumentalists provides a dynamic, professional and varied sound in a small intimate setting right up to a party environment at an affordable cost.
You may have seen John busking and gigging around the UK in the last 3 years. So far he has gained a solid fan base with 22,000 twitter followers, 18,000 Facebook likes and over 6 million YouTube views. His debut album, “The Pavement is My Stage” reached No.7 in the iTunes Singer/Songwriter charts, scored a 5 star rating and was aired on radio nationwide. He also secured a publishing deal with “Music Wales” to be distributed to Tesco stores across the country, and more recently, one of the tracks were selected for TV placement in America.
He first came to many peoples attention when he appeared on X Factor 2011 as a Maths Teacher singing “Cannonball” by Damien Rice. He got to the last 12 boys and was widely credited for getting “cannonball” back in the charts. Making chart history as the first as the first time a song has re-entered at a higher position than the original release.
Thank you in advance for your consideration, we would be very grateful if you could spend some time listening to his music.
