The Hot Hats - Acoustic Wedding Band

Alfie and the "Hot Hats" were amazing! They absolutely made our wedding celebration. They were very professional, flexible, reassuring and calm in the run-up to the big day - no dramas, everything was easy, and we knew we were in good hands. They turned up early and brought great sound and light kit with them (easily big enough for our festival-feel outdoors event). They played all the tunes we'd requested beforehand for the DJ set, then proceeded to wow everyone with upbeat live playing and singing from their extensive set list that got everyone to their feet. We won't forget everyone sitting down to James's "Sit Down" in a hurry! Alfie was great with the crowd and he and Owen were not only extremely good musicians (we had some professionals in the audience who also commented on how good they were) but also really nice chaps to have around - they just made the whole thing happier and more fun. What more could you ask for from a wedding band? We're so very pleased we found Hot Hats and would recommend them to anyone. Thank you Alfie!

The Hot hats were more than we could have ever hoped for on our wedding day. Whether you plan a smaller wedding with close friends and family, or a larger affair, The Hots Hats are guaranteed to be the cherry on cake for your special day - Without them I'm not sure we would have been able to create the same party atmosphere! Whether our guests were tapping their feet or dancing on the grass, everyone enjoyed the entertainment. We first met Alfie when we were on our way back from the church to our wedding reception ... We saw a man suited up and wearing a hat running past our horse and carriage .. calling out to us that he thought his band were playing at our wedding but that they were lost .. they followed us the rest of the way!
Fab band fab guys ... All our guests loved them .. great music and really friendly .. we would highly recommend hothats without a second thought! Really down to earth and lovely people .. a big thank you from us both, Matt & Jo

"We hired the Hot Hats for the afternoon and evening of our village hall wedding and they were excellent. Throughout the afternoon they played acoustic sets which complemented the relaxed atmosphere of the wedding. Our guests kept telling us how much they loved the live band. The band were incredibly flexible and slotted in perfectly between the other elements of the wedding. We were slightly concerned that being a village hall the music could become overpowering, but on the day it turned out perfectly.

In the evening the music was much more upbeat, giving us a packed dance floor all night long with plenty of crowd favourites to sing along to.

We can't thank the Hot Hats enough, particularly Alfie, for being such a fun band. They played three fantastic and diverse sets, and also provided a great DJ service filled with all of our requests and more. You offer something for everyone, and as well as being a brilliant wedding band, you were amazing guests too! All of our guests said they thought you were great and both the live and DJ music was excellent.

We don't plan on getting married again, but if we did - you'd be the first band we call!
